Kathy Diane Reaves Majors

Kathy Diane Reaves Majors, 64, of Hot Springs passed away January 29, 2014. Kathy was born January 25, 1950 in Prescott, AR to Gerald and Nellie (Morgan) Reaves. Kathy was an art teacher and her students and her grandson were her world. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs.
Kathy is predeceased by her parents and one sister, Marcia Huffman.
Kathy is survived by her daughter, Amber (Trey) Brunk of Claremore, OK; sister, Lynda (Robert) Smith of Hot Springs; grandson, Cash and one grandchild on the way; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 PM with Brother John McCallum officiating.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Huffman, Randy Huffman, Lori Walton, Dylan Smith, Matt Smith, Dustin Smith, Matt Headley, Jon Majors, Don Majors, Billy Bob Majors, and all her former students.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association and The Nel Reaves Outreach Ministry, c/o Sulphur Springs Missionary Baptist Church, 4330 Malvern Ave. Hot Springs, AR, 71901.
